So, with the Milwaukee Public Museum still a thing, and the Nature & Culture Museum of Wisconsin still not a thing, why does Milwaukee Public Museum's Wikipedia page already call MPM the Nature & Culture Museum of Wisconsin?

The museum offers free admission to Milwaukee county residents on Mondays. In fact, I was there yesterday. If I had known about this stub, I would have spent more time there. Perhaps we could start with an outline of the different exhibits, and expand from there? DC 16:20, 25 April 2006 (UTC) Reply
- I completed the permanent exhibits list and added quick summaries for each item, so feel free to make my ramblings more coherent and to add to the descriptions. :) It would be nice to get to the point that each bulleted item can be formed in to a proper multi-paragraph description of the exhibit floors.

I did visit the St. Peter and the Vatican exhibit. I'm not Catholic (Protestant, if you're curious) but it was very interesting and informative. Very cool to see a lot of historical items of the church, as well as a few items from the most recent conclave. Also some wall hangings which explained the conclave and the process of electing a new pope.

- Hi Aviper2k7.. it might be Firefox is working on a cached version of the page, from when Wikipedia's server was being flaky. Have you tried clearing the cache, or reloading the page while holding down the crtl key (or is it the shift key?). 72.131.44.247 04:43, 8 October 2006 (UTC) Reply

Nature & Culture Museum of Wisconsin → Milwaukee Public Museum – I was brought here by this article from the Milwaukee Record. It points out that the MPM is still open and makes the claim that the two are somewhat separate topics (being spiritual successors). - Support. This situation isn't covered at WP:RMEC but I wonder if User:Quxyz could withdraw the request and restore the prior name considering the agreement from User:Bubudu57. The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel confirms the planned future name change here (May 6, 2025) and uses the old/still current name Milwaukee Public Museum to describe an upcoming event here (June 20, 2025). Several other sources describing the impending 2027 name change or discussing current/upcoming events at MPM using its current name: --MYCETEAE 🍄🟫—talk 23:36, 14 July 2025 (UTC) Reply
