There is a cleanup tag "dates in reverse chronological order, contrary to WP:DATELIST". So I reversed the order and removed the tag. This edit was undone with the edit comment "Bogart prefers the previous order of publications". Bogart doesn't get a vote. The question is whether there is an exception in the MOS allowing this to remain in reverse chronological order or if it should be changed to chronological order. - Without a good reason to depart from the norm, the list should be kept in the usual chronological order. I'm more concerned about the large chunk of promotional and unsourced material in the article, and the fact that Ben 1979 is directly editing the article despite an obvious (yet undeclared) conflict of interest. I'll try to take a closer look when I'm back on a laptop. – Tera tix ₵ 23:48, 18 January 2020 (UTC) Reply
- I concur with Teratix: Bogart doesn't get to decide whether or not this Wikipedia article is granted a specific exception to the standard house style, neither should Bogart or a person who is operating under the guidance of Bogart be editing this article directly per WP:COI. I'm agnostic on the WP:NPOV issues, but on the narrow matter of following Wikipedia's standard article format and style, we should not be taking the advice of the article subject on such matters. --Jayron 32 16:00, 22 January 2020 (UTC) Reply
- I fully agree, and reverted the order of the publications. – Fayenatic London 08:12, 25 January 2020 (UTC) Reply

The list of productions is far too long for an encyclopedia article. It should be trimmed down to career highlights as evidenced by independent citations, and headed "Selected productions". – Fayenatic London 08:12, 25 January 2020 (UTC) Reply
- Though there is no guideline specifically for works by a theater artist, MOS:LISTSOFWORKS encourages complete lists of work, especially when they are not otherwise available online. They are common on pages of composers, musicians, film actors and directors, etc., as well as of other stage directors. Anyone sufficiently accomplished is going to have a long list of works. List length is justification for a split, not truncation. Career highlights should be discussed in body prose, with independent citations demonstrating that they are highlights. List should, of course, be sourced and presented in a clear way. BrechtBro (talk) 01:18, 7 December 2025 (UTC) Reply
