Fin (Persian: فين)[a] is a city in, and the capital of, Fin District of Bandar Abbas County, Hormozgan province, Iran.[4] It also serves as the administrative center for Fin Rural District.[5]

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the city's population was 3,532 in 860 households.[6] The following census in 2011 counted 5,279 people in 1,325 households.[7] The 2016 census measured the population of the city as 3,939 people in 1,161 households.[2]

2021 earthquake

On 14 November 2021, Fin experienced a major doublet earthquake.[citation needed ]
