Lystus Ebosele (born 2001)[1] is an Irish Powerlifting Champion and fitness influencer, who has won gold medal at 84+ junior weight category at World Powerlifting Championships 2023.[1] [2] While training for the 2024 Arnold Classics, she has managed to squat 240 kilograms (518 lbs) "for a Double".[3]
Early life and career
Lystus Ebosele was born in 2001 in Ireland. As powerlifter, she has become rapidly one of the most successful athletes in her country. She became the Junior European Champion in the European Powerlifting Federation in 2022, and following that she took the International Powerlifting Federation (IPF) Junior world title in the 84+ weight-class in Romania in 2023.[1] [3]
In 2025, Ebosele first appeared on the British TV endurance sports show Gladiators as "Cyclone". She joined the show mid second series.[4] [5] [6]
Personal life
Ebosele stands at figures 5 ft 10 in, and weighs 91 to 95 kg, depending on the training season she is in.[4] [7] In addition to competing in powerlifting, she is also successful on social medias, and currently boasts with almost 100,000 followers on her Instagram account that she updates weekly.[2]
