Not to be confused with Scarpa (company).
Scarpa's shoe was an 18th-century mechanical device developed to treat clubfoot. It never became widely accepted.[1] [2] [3] [4] [5]
It was designed by Antonio Scarpa, an Italian anatomist and surgeon.[3]
