Notes about the music video

stark raving productions PLUS 1 year ago

This music video for powderfinger's BURN YOUR NAME was shot entirely on location in Chiang Mai, Thailand during the Loi Krathong Festival. The release of lanterns (khom loi) brings good luck, as the Thai people believe they send your troubles away. Director: Natasha Pincus Cinematographer: Warwick Field Editor: Marcus Herrick --http://vimeo.com/25916462

In October 2009 Powderfinger headed to Chiang Mai, Thailand, to film a clip for their single "Burn Your Name". The filming took place during the spectacular "Yi Peng" Festival (or Festival Of Lights). --http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3uqOGnvfXXY ~~
