does PRC variant of CHina MTP2 supports SLTM and SLTA messages?

No idea but SLTM and SLTA LSSUs aren't specific to PRC anyway. They are sent periodically (ie every 90 seconds) for all Error Correction techniques on Level 2.

Also, a point about the article. I'd like to ask whom exactly is it that "usually" abbreviates MTP Level 3 to MTP3 ? I've been in the industry nearly 20 years and this site and a few "software" companies, (from IT backgrounds), are the only ones I've ever seen reference this as MTP3 or MTP-3 (same for MTP2 or MTP-2). A search of the ETSI and ITU websites using the terms MTP3 or MTP-3 will come up blank. As this article is part of the Wikipedia TELECOMMUNICATIONS Project, I would suggest we stick to Telecommunications naming convensions as used by the Telecommunications industry and not succumb to the IT industries attempt to re-invent all the terminology used. 217.36.0.13 14:56, 26 March 2007 (UTC) [reply ]
