how come Tranvit hasn't been banned despite using AI for all his articles?Terminate the Colonel's command. (talk) 22:44, 9 January 2025 (UTC)
- @ColonelKurtz: so far there isn't still a policy regarding the use of AI, and the admins (which includes me) still haven't debated how it should be. plus, the guy told me he simply used it to translate stuff from his home language, which isn't the same as using generative AI to plagarize from other works without being noticed... or at least, I think so. πππDaniPine3 (talk)πππ 22:48, 9 January 2025 (UTC)

- @ColonelKurtz: I don't know if it was him who said this, but I'm pretty sure someone also said that the tool to detect AI was still in its early stages and thus can be pretty faulty... or maybe I read this somewhere else. whatever the case, Tranvis has been spared. that said, maybe I should talk this with the other admins, just in case... πππDaniPine3 (talk)πππ 22:55, 9 January 2025 (UTC)
