Hi Spike. Not sure I understand this: 'It used to be only in British television that the audience could be conned into sitting through 4 minutes of froth to reach content it actually wanted.' Isn't that called an introduction? --Laurels.gif RomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 13:11, November 6, 2012 (UTC)

Not saying that intros are not froth; but it used to be that commercial breaks on British TV were much longer than those on US TV. Spıke ¬  16:22 6-Nov-12
Except the link goes to the BBC which only advertises itself. Not anyone else. --Laurels.gif RomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 17:18, November 6, 2012 (UTC)
Well-spotted. I put no thought at all into that link. Let's have it point to Channel 4. Spıke ¬  17:44 6-Nov-12
