my intent with this page (if you didn't understand it) was to pass off the film roles of robert shaw as if he himself did those things in his life. --Sir Gerrycheevers Gun Talk 02:48, 11 December 2007 (UTC)

pee review 1

i thought the concept for this one was really good, but i kind of ran out of steam after a while. this article treats the film career of robert shaw as robert shaw's actual life. any helpful thoughts on how to make it better (particularly how to extend it) would be awesome. --Sir Gerrycheevers Gun Talk 02:51, 11 December 2007 (UTC)

Then allow me to come to your aid. It's my first review, so I apologise early in case I muck it up. --OliverKnight 19:35, 12 December 2007 (UTC)

Humour: 7 I know who Robert Shaw is (the only man who you truly believe could kick Connery's arse!) and the article is a very good idea. But there needs to be more scope for humour, however.
Concept: 8 It's a clever idea, but while the ignorance of our American friend Cajek is staggering, it does highlight one possible problem. As much as I love Shaw, this idea could be applied to a more famous target - Someone who the guys in Oatmeal, Nebraska have heard of. On a personal note, your idea takes me back to being 10 years old, when I asked my Mum how Shaw died and she replied "He was eaten by a shark." So you could make more of this article as there are millions all over the World who confuse the actor with the characters they portray.
Prose and formatting: 8 A good, easy to read writing style. Likeable and enjoyable. Although could it benefit with each section being written slightly closer to the style of each corresponding 'character'?
Images: 7 Good use of pics. Although, they could be a bit larger, but they should be more than enough to remind/inform readers about who Shaw is/was.
Miscellaneous: 7.5 I think the article could be longer, maybe include another 'film' just to give his 'life' a bit more meat, a bit more substance?
Final Score: 37.5 V. Good overall. Good idea, but as much as I like Robert Shaw, perhaps to make it funnier, then a comedy actor as your subject might be better.
