The Berkeley Open Infrastructure for Network Computing (BOINC) system is the software infrastructure used by Einstein@Home and many other volunteer distributed computing projects. The BOINC Open Source Project is looking for volunteers to develop and maintain the BOINC client on macOS. The BOINC Client and Manager are C++ cross-platform code supporting Microsoft Windows, macOS, Linux, and several other operating systems. We currently have a number of volunteer developers supporting Windows and Linux, but our main macOS developer is winding down his involvement after many years.

I apologize for the late notice, but UWM IT networking will be performing a maintenance window for all of UWM services on January 6th 2019 (2019年01月06日) from 0600 UTC to 1400 UTC. There is may short periods of network outages as the networking equipment is upgraded. During these times Einstein@Home Website might not be available. As usual volunteers will not need to do anything with their clients. Thanks for your patience.

our University network will undergo some critical maintenance on December 27th, between 6:30 AM and 10:00 AM CET. During that time Einstein@Home might not be available at all times. This can affect our website as well as our workunit management servers. Don't worry, your BOINC software is going to cache extra tasks for your computer(s) to process and any finished tasks will be uploaded as soon as our servers are reachable again.
