Pop, also known as Experiment 009, is an illegal genetic experiment created by Jumba Jookiba and a character in the Lilo & Stitch franchise. He is designed to use his tail to blow up a balloon to the size of the room he is in, then popping the balloon, discombobulating those involved near the explosion of the balloon and causing frizzy hair. He appears in the Stitch! anime.
Background
Experiment 009 was the ninth genetic experiment created by Jumba with Hämsterviel's funding. He was designed to discombobulate and disorient enemies by using his tail to blow up and pop balloons. 009 and the other first 624 experiments were deactivated and smuggled to Earth by Jumba during his mission to capture Experiment 626.
All of the experiment pods were released and scattered across the island of Kauai.
Physical appearance
Pop is a small, orange and caramel-colored monkey-like experiment with two pink orbs on the top of his head with three stubby multi-colored antennae. Pop has a white face and stomach and a small red nose, as well as green markings on his rear and back. Pop's tail is a pump which he uses to blow up pink balloons which reform on his tail after they pop.

Stitch!
In "Stitch's Birthday, Part Two", Pop was displayed by a young Hämsterviel to Delia approximately around the time of Experiment 626's creation, accidentally letting Pop out of his containment capsule. Naturally, he carried out his primary function, inflating his tail in front of an interested Delia. Hämsterviel jumps on the enlarging balloon, but is propelled with the balloon. Delia soon realizes what is happening, and as she tries to escape, the balloon gets too big and immobilizes her, pressing her against Hämsterviel. The balloon eventually pops, yet Pop's fate afterwards is unknown, although he somehow ended back with Jumba.
Trivia
- With only one brief animated scene, Pop most likely has the least amount of screen time out of all the fully confirmed experiments that appeared in the Stitch! anime.
