General Tesler is the main antagonist of Tron: Uprising .
Personality[ ]
General Tesler is a cold and ruthless General Program serving Clu who intends to takeover Argon and the Grid. He shows no problem derezzing his own men should they say the Renegade is Tron, as well as a dislike towards Dyson. He is even shown to have nightmares of the Renegade freeing Argon should he fail.
Background[ ]
Leading CLU 2.0's forces in Argon City, he tries to ensure control of the city and seeks to stamp out any resistance, coming up against the Renegade.
In "Grounded", after the Renegade saved some programs for breaking curfew, one of his men told him that "Tron Lives", Tesler derezzed him for just failing but also for calling him a "liar" and decides to challenge in Argon Square. The Renegade arrived at the scene and released the prisoners but chose to fight the Renegade. Just as Tesler was about to win, a mysterious program on a Lightcycle appear, save the Renegade by derezzing his arm. Tesler decided to retreat!
Trivia[ ]
- Unused storyboards, possibly for the season finale, show Tesler being punished for his failures by having his hands cut off.
