Quantian HOWTOs

• how to build a Quantian dvd/cdrom (note that this HOWTO is somewhat dated and needs an update),
• how to boot Quantian directly from hard disk via the lilo or grub bootloaders,
• how to boot Quantian over the network requiring neither cdrom nor harddisk,
• how to boot the larger-than-cdrom Quantian iso image from a hardisk partition that could even be a Windows partition,
• how to install Quantian to hard disk,
• how to boot the larger-than-cdrom Quantian iso from a Windows 2000 or XP system using a Windows version of the Grub bootloader,

• how to run Quantian via the VMware VMplayer, including creating a writeable installation on a Windows hosts.
