On August 21^st, a friend and I will depart Chicago on Route 66. The trip is unstructured except for the date of our arrival in Los Angeles. In LA, another friend will meet us and the two will swap places for the return trip. The east bound segment is as part of a caravan of Corvettes heading to the National Corvette Museum for the it's 5^th anniversary.

This web site is partly an excuse for getting some experience but also a way to let our friends and family glimpse a little of this caper as it takes place. This is my first attempt at this sort of thing so it may all collapse before we hit the Illinois state line. If it doesn't, I'll try to have a bit of news and a picture or two on a more or less daily basis.
