Most recent papers have a pdf version, for which you can use acrobat, and a
postscript version, for which you can use ghostview, but many older papers
are in gzipped postscript, for which the Windows Winzip Wizard may not work,
but which can be handled in Windows by PowerArchiver; also, old versions of
Netscape usually do a good job, although recent versions may not.
- The best place to find any relatively recent publication is the What's New page.
- See also the List of Books.
- Some publications not listed on these pages, may be found on the Other Papers page.
- Publications in specialized areas can often be found on webpages devoted
to those topics (as listed below), but these are updated less frequently, and
may be most useful as overviews.
- All publications are listed in my resume, which is also available in a pdf version, but these do not have links to the
online versions.
- An informal overview of my research interests can be found in Tossing Algebraic Flowers down the Great
Divide, from People and Ideas in Theoretical Computer
Science, edited by Cristopher Calude (Springer 1998), pages 93-129, a
sort of intellectual autobiography up to about 1997, written by invitation
for the 25th anniversary celebration of the European Association for Computer
Science, for a book of such essays.
Many publications in specialized areas can be found in following
webpages:
