Integrating Broadcom Endevor and Test4z for Seamless Unit Testing Introduction In today's fast-paced DevOps world, integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines is a well-accepted best practice. However, the key to unlocking the full potential of DevOps lies in shifting left—the earlier we catch defects, the lower the cost of remediation. By embedding Broadcom Test4z within the Endevor compile processor, we achieve a seamless integration where test results are saved alongside compile listings and version history directly in Endevor. This approach does not replace external automation tools but enhances version control and traceability ...

In an era where cyber threats grow increasingly sophisticated, the principle of least privilege has evolved from a best practice to a core pillar of enterprise cybersecurity. Organizations are adopting identity-based Zero Trust architectures, where access is continuously verified and privileges are tightly controlled. Implementing least privilege ensures that users, systems, and applications receive only the permissions required to perform their tasks—no more, no less. Symantec Privileged Access Manager (PAM) offers a unified, policy-driven platform for enforcing least privilege across the enterprise. It secures privileged accounts, monitors administrative ...

GitOps has fundamentally changed how we deploy applications. With tools like ArgoCD and Renovate Bot , the deployment pipeline is reduced to a simple action: merging a Pull Request (PR). But what happens when that PR proposes an update to a critical production service, and you don't have a dedicated pre-production environment for testing? The real challenge in modern GitOps isn't automation—it's assessment . Every time an automated bot suggests a new version of a Bitnami Secure Images Helm chart, a DevOps engineer faces the "production update dilemma." Is the potential security gain worth the risk of disruption? This article walks ...

The Critical Need to Modernize Your Infrastructure: Why Delaying Upgrades Puts Your Business at Risk Why Customers do not Upgrade their Platforms One can wonder why customers put themselves into this uncomfortable situation and it is most probably a combination of the following: "If it works, don’t fix it" There is a natural resistance to change and maybe even more so in IT. When the infrastructure has been working like a swiss clock for many years and there are real revenues attached to it (as it is the case for API Security which is the center pillar of the application economy), the last thing you want to do is to change it un-necessarily. ...

On September the 8th, the main developer of multiple and very popular NPM packages, Josh Junon posted his NPM account has been compromised . The attacker used his account to publish new versions of packages that contain a piece of code that would be executed on the client of a website, which silently intercepts crypto and web3 activity in the browser, manipulates wallet interactions, and rewrites payment destinations so that funds and approvals are redirected to attacker-controlled accounts without any obvious signs to the user. The packages and versions identified with malware at the time of writing this post are the following ones: ansi-styles@6.2.2 ...
