Steps to Reproduce and Observed Behavior

Clone https://github.com/ghostty-org/ghostty or add it as a dependency in build.zig.zon.

Build a debug version of zig without libc, so it uses DebugAllocator.

Use that version of zig to run zig build --fetch:
