Enhancement Request: Automatically have the text field in focus on app open / tab change. #467

Currently, the user has to tap on the text field to get the on screen keyboard to appear to begin entry. I think it'd be more user friendly to have the text field selected by default to save one click for each entry.

Some people could find this annoying though if they browse more than enter stuff. Maybe add this as a preference? Or tie it to Quick data entry?

with Quick data entry off, selecting the + sign should auto-focus on the first text field as well.

I agree, I had it like this in the beginning but might have lost the auto focus during one of the man recent changes. I'll doucle-check

@toz May I suggest "double tapping the tab icon/label triggers auto focus" as an alternative or temporary solution until you find the culprit?
