# Steps for reproducing the issue

Precondition: The option Compose > Unlisted Replies is enabled.

  1. Click the pencil to write a new post
  2. (Note that the visibility setting is set as public correctly)
  3. Click + to add a new reply
  4. Now the visibility of the first post changed to unlisted
  5. (It can be changed back to public manually and stays that way afterwards)

It only happens with the option enabled. But it should not be applied for new threaded posts.

Instance: https://openbiblio.social/

  • Mastodon
  • Pleroma
  • Friendica
  • Pixelfed

Version of Fedilab: 3.21.2

Android version: 13

Seems the same bug that was fixed today. See #875

Oh sorry, yes. I was somewhat fixated on the term "thread" when looking for similar tickets. I close the ticket.
