Currently these are hardcoded to Let’s Encrypts staging, production, and local Pebble server endpoints.

Research needed:

  • Are there other providers that are not for profit and provide no-strings-attached certs?
  • Do they have staging + production environments?
  • Are they 100% ACME compliant?

I actually don’t think there are any other not-for-profit ACME providers at the moment. Closing this for now. Can revisit later if it becomes a necessity (or, if, say, we get a not-for-profit ACME provider in the EU, for example).
