save/restore layout functionality #102

First off, thanks for the amazing project. I'm a long time notion on x11 user. I finally made the switch to volare on wayland this weekend and thus far it has been an amazingly smooth transition.

One area that I'm currently struggling with is the ability to save layouts such that they can easily be restored after logging back in. I'm hoping to find the volare equivalent of session/save from notion: https://notionwm.net/tour.html#the-main-menu-and-saving-the-current-layout

Does this currently exist? If not, could this issue serve as a feature request for it?

That's great to hear!

My own session is so simple and I reboot so seldomly that I don't have a strong need for this feature myself. However, I can see how it would be useful, and I'd welcome a contribution in this area.

It would be even better if this could be done in a way that could also be contributed upstream to Sway, of course. Sadly it looks like Sway wasn't too interested in this feature in the past (https://github.com/swaywm/sway/issues/1005). That thread may have some interesting pointers, though. I wonder if https://github.com/Nama/swayrst would also work for Volare.
