It 's important to see that xut support any 3rd party repo
Otherwise who will try it?
Everyone thinks that is just for abyss-packages and see no purpose for it...
Spoke about that with few people...

PS: I think it could also help to share it in official Void Linux reddit group to bring more attention to xut

Support for other repos something I absolutely want as I plan to have other repos outside abyss myself...
It is working rn, but not for any repo.
That needs at least a) coordination with people that maintain other, existing repos andb ) some list of supported repos that are actually tested. That is not optional, supporting (eg) repos with random directory structure is not easy or even possible.

I absolutely have a use for it :P
I get what you are saying, but we more work is needed for that. I will gladly share it in the subreddit after we have a solution for shlibs (even partial, enabled on a per-repo basis) and possibly a list of compatible repos.
