Operating System

Windows

Feature Description

Option to disable LibreWolf's behaviour to automatically jump to the new created folder while organising or clearing up the Library.

Problem / Use Case

Problem:
While organising bookmarks in an already existing folder in the library, I most of the times want to move bookmarks in other folders which don't exist yet. So I create a new folder e.g. for a certain topic in the current or another folder. After hitting the "save button", LibreWolf then jumps directly to the new empty folder and in order to be able to resume the task I was doing, I would have to go back to the original folder and start sorting/filtering that one all over again and again.

What I usually do:
Menu Bar->Bookmarks->Manage Bookmarks->Bookmarks Menu->open a folder->sort/filter bookmarks->right click "Add folder"

Why is it needed?:
This is extremely time-consuming and annoying when you are regularly trying to organise or to clear up large amount of different bookmarks. The option to disable this behaviour would save so much time and nerves. ;)

the same way as in firefox, browser.bookmarks.defaultLocation controls the default location the bookmarks save dialog jumps to and, as you can see, is always updated with the last used location. you could lockPref() the value in your librewolf overrides to an arbitrary folder/location of your choice.

Thank you for your reply.

Edit (after trying the suggested solution):
This is not the solution for what I've described. This only changes the default location of the bookmark's dialogue. This does not change the behaviour when organising already saved bookmarks within the "Library" window.
