dns10.quad9.net is broken? #3022

LibreWolf Version

150.0.1-1 (64-bit)

Operating System

Windows 10

Installation Source / Package

Windows Installer (.exe)

Description

All websites became unavailable, librewolf pointed toward DNS

DNS-over-HTTPS option had Custom selected with address https://dns10.quad9.net before me trying to change it
Switching to any other option fixed the websites

I wanted to know what's dns10 was about, so found https://quad9.net/service/service-addresses-and-features/ which listed that and 2 others.
Pasting https://dns.quad9.net/dns-query into the Custom field auto-switches option to "Quad9" and websites work.
Pasting https://dns11.quad9.net/dns-query auto-switches option to "Quad9+ECS" and websites work.
Pasting https://dns10.quad9.net/dns-query as it was before I looked, websites are broken

https://quad9.net/service/service-addresses-and-features/ says dns10 is "(for experts only!)", so I don't know if I pasted it long ago on my own and it's my mistake or it's something on your end, or indeed some problem on quad9 side... But I just want some awareness to be had

Also hackernews has DNSSEC problems on frontpage right now, so that might be related

Is this still a problem?

Is this still a problem?

No, not anymore

No idea what it was, quad9 said it's not related to recent dnssec issues because dns10 doesn't even have dnssec enabled
