LW DoH Max Protection: "Quad9 (Malware Blocking)" doesn't work and breaks the browsing (PortableApps) #2858

LibreWolf Version

147.0.2-1 Portable (PortableApps)

Operating System

Windows 10

Installation Source / Package

Portable Version

Description

As you can see from the images, if I set "Maximum Protection" with "Quad9 (Malware Blocking)" everything breaks.
Furthermore, setting a personalized DNS with the link "https://dns.quad9.net/dns-query" does the same.
Instead, if I set "Increased" or "Low" protection with "Quad9 (M.B.)" I can browse, but I'm not connected to the DNS at all.
On others browsers I never had such problems.
So AFAIK is a LW issue.

"Quad9 (No Filtering)" and others DNS works fine, but I don't want them.

This was a Firefox regression that was fixed in the last release. You are running an older version.

I'm using the portable version, and I don't see an update available here. It's up to LW and PortableApps to provide updates, not on me. Still, thanks for clearing that up. I really hope they roll out an update soon... but falling behind by weeks with updates is pretty disappointing.

We update to the newest Firefox release within a day, often within only a few hours.

We don't maintain the PortableApps version of LibreWolf, and it appears the PortableApps version already has the latest release.

Its up to you to do updates, not on us.

I can't really reproduce this.
Do you have any addon or tool installed that might break connection to the DNS server?

I have the same privacy addons that I've installed on Brave. I've also tried to disable them but nothing has changed.
As you can see, I have the same results as before. IDK why it's not working. Is there a Portable version directly curated by LW?
I would like to try if there are differences.
