Renaming LibreWolf installer to librewolf.exe causes the installer to close itself during installation. #2095

Good afternoon,

I've noticed whenever I rename the Windows LibreWolf installer to librewolf.exe it threats itself as a browser process and it couldn't install the browser due to prompt that LibreWolf needs to be closed first.

Solution: Check whenever the process named librewolf.exe is an installer process.

is prompting an error that already a librewolf instance is running and should be closed, then it closes itself.

There's no librewolf instance running except the installer which is named librewolf.exe

Had the same issue.

The renaming of the installer happened due to me being lazy and using cURL on Windows with '--output libewolf.exe' parameter (instead of re-writing the installer version number suffix of the filename) to download the librewolf installer.

I did not want to use edge browser to download the installer. Default windows 11 installation has curl, but no wget at command line.

@Bozzlewhiz off-topic, but you can just use curl -O ( --remote-name ) instead, see curl manpage.
