Have you modified any settings, especially privacy.resistFingerprinting? By default (with privacy.resistFingerprinting set to true), LibreWolf spoofs the UA as Firefox ESR. That way, addon installation should work as intended. If it's disabled, the UA identifies it as LibreWolf, which could cause this issue.

There is also another problem with "Plasma Integration" on openSUSE image
Also I can't open Dark Reader's settings with: privacy.resistFingerprinting: false (Infinite loading - it works on standard Firefox).
