He's moved the repo and new instructions are here:

Problem is, that only works for Debian unstable and Ubuntu 24.04. If you're using 22.04 (or even 20.04), as far as I can tell you're SOL. There is a flatpak and an appimage, but they won't be integrated with the OS.

I'm looking for a solution myself.

I followed the instructions on the wiki to install appimagelauncher and the librewolf appimage. When I started librewolf it created a default profile in the already present ~/.librewolf directory. So I exited, renamed my previously used profile to the one given to the new default profile, and restarted. Then everything was fine.
