Plans for 2.1 #8

This is a very early stage of planning for SR+ 2.1. At this stage, 1.1 development is nearly complete, with MediaStore being the only item left on the list before release.

This release will be the first one since SR+ was fully rewritten in Kotlin. I took a bit of an unexpected detour in 1.1, rewriting the non-UI code in Kotlin. By 2.0, all of the code will be written in Kotlin, and by 2.1 I should be refactoring some of that rewritten code to take advantage of language features newly available to us. I assume most of that will have be done by 2.0, but in case not, I expect it to be done by 2.1.

Here's what's planned:

  • Add support for multiple formats
