David MHS Webster, aka Keggek
Hobbies: Writing low level code, messing around with Linux, Thinking, Video games
I write code sometimes, I try to make it all CC0 if I can.
I obsess over compilers, game engines, operating systems, kernels, etc.
What have you made?
My best work is easily Coder's Basilisk.
It is my magnum opus. The world's first true metacompiler.
I wrote TPCPU. It is a custom CPU architecture and computing platform designed for hosting permanent software (i.e. ultra-portable, robust).
I wrote SISA16 a preemptive multitasking VM with a really complex assembler. I consider it out-of-date but sometimes I start working on it again from time-to-time. I wrote a monolithic kernel for it with a few basic system calls.
I wrote MHS-FS a very simple recoverable filesystem.
I've written too many random little rendering toolkits and math library bits and bobs to count.
I wrote an OpenGL 3.3 game engine a few years ago.
What is interesting about you?
There's a couple things. My work isn't actually the most interesting thing about me, but it is what I'm willing to tell you about.
What projects am I actively working on?
Currently I am working exclusively on Coder's Basilisk and TPCPU32_PC.
I play video games too
I love Touhou Project. I love Unreal Tournament 1999 and 2004.
I play some games on steam sometimes
I REALLY love Touhou and Len'en.
I listen to music
I'm a big fan of Demoscene music. Everything from the Amiga to the Nintendo DS.
ZUN is currently my favorite composer.
