I continued, but I think there is a better approach than creating actual compare tables:
List alternatives to Forgejo and mention how Forgejo differs from each of them / what is the added value. I'll try to make a proposal in this direction.

I learned that others built on top of my work. Thank you! My urgent problem with the compare page is resolved, and I'm still undecided on my proposal for a better generic compare page, so I'll close this one and consider getting to it at a (much) later point in time.
