The Gitea wikipedia page mentions Forgejo but there are no pages yet.
The Gitea page is very minimal. If someone likes to pick up some wiki editing a great Forgejo page might be created, and linked from various other locations.

For the record, Forgejo would need to match the Wikipedia notability criteria https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Notability to be accepted. It would have a negative impact on Forgejo to create a page at this point in time because it does not. It needs to wait at least another two years.
'german' wikipedia says this :)
For software, a certain current or historical perception or distribution must be verifiable. An article about software should therefore contain media attention, for example in the form of literature, detailed test reports/reviews, serious comparisons or lists of the best, treatment at specialist conferences or a noteworthy mention in the press. For article requirements, see: Articles about software.
In chat there was mention about Codeberg not having its own page. They likely fit notability criteria.
So creating a Codeberg page, describing its services in sub-sections, and then giving it a big sub-section on recently launched Forgejo under their fostering umbrella is an alternative option.
Having that sub-section would also enable cross-linking from other wikipedia pages, probably?

FYI, I've been making small steps towards filling in some info and paragraphs on the Codeberg draft: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Codeberg
Also, for Forgejo I'd lean towards adding a section in the Gitea article and making a Forgejo -> Gitea redirect.
Hey great @tranzystorek-io .. did you create a codeberg Community issue for it? May help give more eyes and helping hands on it..
Just added it there: Codeberg/Community#912
Just collecting a couple of external sources featuring Codeberg. Maybe some can be used in reference to establish notability criteria for publishing:

I skipped some (not bad) personal blogs. I think the noteworthiness requirement might get tricky.
As one of my follow-ups I was introduced to a journalist at FOSDEM.
I pitched the idea of writing about Forgejo but have to drop him an e-mail with some more information.
No dependencies set.
