Although slowly, the list of professional service providers for Forgejo grew over the past years, and I hope to encourage more listings there. However, the list is currently quite noisy in my eyes.
I suggest that people on the list can "apply" via the normal process in Forgejo to receive a "Contributor" label. The Forgejo community gets to evaluate if the contributions back to the project are significant enough to warrant it. The label expires after one year, similar to team memberships.
I hope that this would allow users to know which service providers give back to the community; and indirectly also encourages providers to contribute back in order to receive the label.
