w3id.org is a 3rd party service we're not affiliated with, and the /fep namespace there is not officially endorsed by the FEP team. It can't be used for canonical URLs.

I would prefer our own website but I think https://fediverse.codeberg.page/ is not stable enough -- it is possible that we will move it to a dedicated domain in the future.
