We could create an open-source app to create an automatic financial report from OpenCollective data, instead of doing the extremely tedious task of putting it together by hand, as we had to do for last year. The data is available in the OpenCollective dashboard under "Reports" as well as "Ledger" > "Transactions" but it is in CSV format. A Rust/C++/Python CLI app can be used to create a styled Typst file from the CSV data. This Typst file can be committed to the static/financial-reports directory of the Elara website repo, and then Typst would be used to compile it into a PDF.
