Currently our email (elaraproject.sci@gmail.com) uses Gmail which is definitely not an ideal solution, as it is proprietary and out of our control. We should set up an open-source (self-hosted or nonprofit-run) email server as a replacement.

We can also try using Proton mail with a custom email address.
