Support for LMDE7 'gigi' #679

Dear developers,
I would like to use EduVPN on my LinuxMint Debian 7 'gigi'. I tried both the script and the manual way (using the quotes for Linux Mint 22 as well as Debian 13 "trixie", which LMDE7 is based off off), but got either
"repository not found"
or
"OS: "LMDE" with codename "gigi" is not supported"
, respectively.
Am I right in assuming this is related to something other rather than the eduvpn-client deb? Could you kindly point me to a way how to get EduVPN working on gigi?
Thank you very much!

Thank you very much, for your immediate support!
Works flawlessly!
Best regards

Suggestion: might it be worth it to indicate that the Installation guide #linux-mint-7 refers to the debian-based LMDE7 'gigi' rather than the regular, ubuntu-based Linux-Mint?
Cheers
