I guess since connect-on-demand has been disabled we have an issue when connected over ethernet cable, the client doesn't automatically switch to WiFi when using Tunnelkit (openVPN).

When disconnecting the ethernet cable, the client says "no internet", although there is WiFi. See screenshot. All traffic is being blocked.

I tried to reproduce this with eduVPN from the Mac App Store version 4.1.3. I had the Mac connected with both Ethernet and WiFi, and then connected to a OpenVPN profile. Then I pulled out the ethernet cable. In my case the VPN disconnected (which is still not the correct behaviour).

The connection log said:

2026年06月29日 14:44:31.187 2026年06月29日 14:44:31.187 ERROR OpenVPNSession.sendDataPackets():1266 - Data: Failed LINK write during send data: Error Domain=NSPOSIXErrorDomain Code=57 "Socket is not connected"

In your case, the tunnel doesn't disconnect but there is no connectivity.

@efef Is it still reproducible for you? If so, can you check what the connection log says?
