hi, im trying to add the pulse tag to my yambar, yet i get this error when trying to start it:

err: plugin.c:281: module: pulse: dlopen: module_pulse.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
err: config-verify.c:365: 119:6: bar.right: invalid module name: pulse
err: main.c:113: /home/qube/.config/yambar/config.yml: failed to load configuration

the manpage for yambar-modules-pulse also doesnt exist

i suspect this is because of the package im using
im on void linux so maybe the repo maintainers decided not to include pulseaudio support with yambar

should i manually compile or is there a better way to solve this? is pulseaudio even still supported?

Hi @nolsh, sorry for the late reply. The error and missing manpage suggest that the pulse module was not enabled. I think compiling yambar yourself would be the way to go if you want to use the pulse module.

And yes, the pulse module is still functional. I'm using it with PipeWire, which provides a PulseAudio compatibility layer.

@dnkl, I think this issue can be closed.
