Sorry for noob question. I've actually never tested this caz never thought of using it.
How do we run instead of drun ? (where anything from /bin can be executed )

Yes I have gone through https://codeberg.org/dnkl/fuzzel/src/branch/master/doc/fuzzel.1.scd & it specifically says "XDG applications" only. There was no mention of binary applications.
I never used dmenu mode before. Caz my first launcher in my window manager journey was rofi, then this.
Rofi had dmenu mode but it also provided --run besides --drun too, which is why I honestly donno what dmenu can do.

I've also read dmenu archwiki & there was no mention of application launching.

I think I'm decided to create desktop files in ~/.local/share/applications I can also reap the advantage of icons & mimeopen too. Better than the above solution, which renders iconless lists.
