Why not just grab the 400+ ready themes from iTerm2 Color Schemes? Ghostty does the same.

Although, their template for foot themes is outdated. I've made a pull request to merge the fixed template and themes here, so you can just grab them from that branch.

And i'm not sure what is considered bloat or not, but all these themes would be +1.9MB, so i think that's negligible? Idk.

I'll make a pull request real quick in case whoever reviews this decides it's a good idea

Serving "400+ ready themes" sounds more like a space pollution. That being said, having maybe a dozen of carefully selected themes is probably a good idea.

Usual suspects a-la Jellybeans, Zenburn, etc. Perhaps default NeoVim theme as well? It's been redesigned for 0.11 and has both dark and light options.

I don't think it makes much sense to dump that many themes into foot. I tend to think of the bundled themes as examples. It would make much more sense for a distribution to package [iTerm2-Color-Schemes]h(ttps://github.com/mbadolato/iTerm2-Color-Schemes) as a separate package (or multiple, per-terminal, packages).
