Design a new default color scheme for foot #1321

Versions up to 1.13 used a variant of "zenburn" as the default color scheme. In 1.14, we switched the default to a variant of solarized dark.

But, I think the time has come to design a new color scheme, unique to foot.

Requirements:

  • It should be new, and unique to foot.
  • It should be a "dark" theme.
  • It should be accessible. That is, high contrast.
  • It should follow the ANSI standard (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ANSI_escape_code#3-bit_and_4-bit). That is, "black" should be black, "red" should be red, etc.
  • The bright colors should be brighter than the "normal" colors, but still the "same" color.

If you want to give this a go, simply open up a PR with the new color scheme. The file should be formatted as a theme, and thus it should be possible to include= it directly, without reformatting anything.

Please mention this issue in the PR, for traceability. Also please attach an image to the PR, with e.g neofetch or something else that shows all colors.

To all others: please give a thumbs up to the theme(s) you like. Note that there's absolute no need to give any thumbs down. I'll ignore them, and just count the thumbs ups.

I've added a PR for a new theme called Chiba Dark. A preview image has been attached here as well.

People, please note that if you want your thumbs up to count as a vote, please do them in PR, not in comments here.

For people really interested in contrast and accessibility for terminal themes, Calvin Walton put together a terminal palette test page that styles the output of a bunch of terminal programs with terminal themes and lets you check the WCAG rating of the various combinations happening in the wild.

One has to translate the theme to CSS for that but apart from that getting the thing running locally was very easy last I tried.
