Hello. I have problem installing fcft from AUR package (as I need it for foot installation) on latest Manjaro release. It seems to me, that it is compiled, but test are not passing. Here is the output of the pamac install fcft command:

In the build directory (sorry, no idea where it is when pamac is used), there should be a file called unicode-precompose-table.h.

Can you attach that file here?

Here is the file, thank you very much!

Thanks! The problem is the entries in the table isn't properly sorted. In other words, the bug is in the script that generates that file.

Which locale are you using?

My $LANG and $LC_* are all set to cs_CZ.UTF-8.

Hmm, weird. I still can't reproduce.

The script is just a shell script using cut, grep, sed and sort.

I'm not sure what could cause them to generate different output (other than the locale).

Are any of those utilities non-standard on your system?

Ah, I can reproduce. Just had to make sure your locale was set for all commands in the sorting pipeline.

Hmm, I do not think so. These are versions installed:

❱ grep --version
grep (GNU grep) 3.7
❱ cut --version
cut (GNU coreutils) 9.0
❱ sed --version
sed (GNU sed) 4.8
❱ sort --version
sort (GNU coreutils) 9.0

Oh sorry, I have not refreshed and you answered in the mean time. Thank you a lot for the effort.

I have a POC patch that appears to work. Will post PR later.
