Your idea

In normal tidal, you can search your album collection and sort by other columns (Date added, A-Z, artist, release date).

Personally I'm almost always using date added which seems to be the default here so I'm fine, though searching would be helpful.

Is there a similar feature in TIDAL?

Yes, in the album collection you can search and click the 3 dots to get sorting columns

Impact on usability

Tonearm is useable
