Description

It appears that some codecs are missing for playback of embedded audio tracks in videos.

Details of the track I am having problem is (copied from the official Jellyfin app):

Audio
Title: Eng - Dolby Digital+ - Stereo - Default
Language: eng
Codec: EAC3
Layout: stereo
Channels: 2 ch
Bitrate: 224 kbps
Sample rate: 48000 Hz
Default: Yes
Forced: No
External: No

Possibly related to missing MPV dependencies (#30). Could also be something with the MPV configuration, seems like Dolby audio might need some additional settings

i'm having the same audio problem with EAC3 codec on the flatpak version. however, if i install delfin from the AUR they play just fine. would it be possible to fix this by giving the delfin flatpak access to the required mpv files via flatseal until this is resolved? if so, which ones would that be? i'd gladly test my hypothesis if you could give me some pointers.

Sorry, I was hoping to get to this sooner, but Dolby audio is now working for me with the latest Flatpak release. Let me know if there's any more audio/video codec issues!

Hi, I found another codec that doesn't work with Delfin but works with the official client:
