🧪 Task: Collect sample pairs of 3d model "source files" and "target files" for resin printers #37
Is there a way for us to help with that?
@Tzig Indeed. For now, my idea was to receive some of these pairs of "source file" (STL/OBJ/...) and "target file" (.goo, etc) directly on my email address. Feel free to ping me on the Discord channel :) , I think I saw you around, right?
Note: I don't want to post those files here because I don't want to impose too much on Codeberg, as these files are generally quite big.
Will do.
I agree they shouldn't be in the main git repo, but having these files publicly available somewhere will make development easier for new devs
I agree with that as well. The problem is that this requires setting up some extra infrastructure to host said files and make them available. Nothing fancy, but we didn't had the time yet as there were other pressing matters.
Another detail is that we might not be able to make all of these files publicly available for copyright reasons.
I have goo files if you want, not sure where to send them. I have for a Mars 5 Ultra. What is the idea with these samples? Since libraries do exist for some of these surely, such as https://docs.rs/goo/latest/goo/
