Cadence graph is empty. Can you make it look like cadence graph from GadgetBridge?

Actually, I realized that cadence is missing from activities imported from GadgetBridge into OpenVitals through Health Connect when they were recorded on my Garmin watch, even though it uses the same cadence sensor. The same activities were also recorded directly in OpenVitals at the same time using the same cadence sensor. Cadence data is missing from the Garmin-recorded activities but is present in the OpenVitals-recorded activities.

I'm not sure if this is a GadgetBridge issue, but I tried importing a FIT file directly from GadgetBridge into OpenVitals on an Android phone that I keep in a drawer just for testing purposes. I noticed that all graphs are missing for that particular activity.

I also found another issue. When I import a FIT file, the app assigns the calorie values to the wrong fields. It puts the total calories into the active calories field and active calories into the total calories field. In addition, the active calorie value does not match the value shown in GadgetBridge.

Now when I import fit files it shows all graphs, but on old activities already recorded doesn't show an Cadence graph it is just empty.

thats because the import was wrong, and it did not pick that info. you need to reimport

I fully cleared the data of Health Connect and reimport GadgetBridge data to it, but Cadence graph it's still empty.

Silly questions, but do the .fit files have the cadence data? It's weird that it import for some , but not for others

I will reimport everything again from GB to HC to be sure If there any issues and I will import activity to my test android device to compere both.

I reimported all the data, but cadence still doesn't appear. I also imported the same workout from GadgetBridge as a FIT file into my test device and compared it with the same workout imported through Health Connect. The cadence graph appears for the FIT file import, but it is missing from the Health Connect import.

So this is the case?

Gadgetbridge => HealthConnect => OpenVitals = Does not show cadence
Gadgetbridge => FitFile => Openvitals = Shows cadence

If so, the issue is Gadgetbridge not adding cadence on HealthConnect, but when you import the FIT in openvitals we add the cadence
