[Feature Request] Filter out apps that are updated months/years ago #36

Guidelines

  • I have searched the issue tracker for open and closed issues that are similar to the feature request I want to file, without success.
  • I'm on the latest version.
  • I'm not using a test build (alpha/beta/release-candidate).
  • This issue contains only one feature request.

Problem Description

From time to time I search for apps with a really generic term and found a lot of apps, that's ok. But I want to filter out apps with are for old android versions or in other words, they become no more updates.

I can only see the date of the app in the details, so I must often switch between the search result and the detail of an app.

It is similar to the feature request of https://github.com/NeoApplications/Neo-Store/issues/30, but with the flexibility for both worlds.

Proposed Solution

It would be nice to filter apps out, if they have not received an update in the last x years/months.
So people which need old versions of an app can found them and also people which search for recently "newly" or "uptodated" apps.

Alternatives Considered

No response

Actually you can use the "target Android version"-filter as proxy for exactly this (most apps update their targetSDK one year after the release of new Android version at the latest). Plus, the search results sorting algorithm actually already rank apps higher when they got at least an update at the last year (which fits theoratically in your aim, while keeping the search results there, when no updated apps fit the bill).

Considering the plethora of options that NS already provides, I gotta consider any additions twice. So I'll reconsider this for future releases...
