Wählt der Nutzer eine Sprache, die grundsätzlich nicht unterstützt wird, nutzt das System statt dessen die konfigurierte fallback locale.

Wird eine Sprache grundsätzlich unterstützt, in der jedoch einzelne Strings fehlen, so wird für diese bisher nicht die fallback locale genutzt:

Ziel ist es, in diesen Fällen die Übersetzung der fallback locale für die fehlenden Strings zu nutzen.
